Child's Music and Movement Classes

The Music Class is an exciting child's music and movement program developed by Rob Sayer which features:

• Fun, music and movement classes given in English for children ages birth through four years old with their parents and/or caregivers.
• Our CDs, tapes, and song books. Our materials are designed to stimulate young minds. They include a wide variety of musical scales, rhythms, instruments and styles. Parents and children alike love our recordings.
• Informal Instruction. Children participate as they choose and do so at their own developmental level. We stimulate learning through play.
• Mixed Age Classes. Children of different ages (such as siblings) can enjoy class together.
• Young Children, Including Infants. A child's music and linguistic development is greatly enhanced by early exposure.

Music Kids is based on The Music Class, a music education program enjoyed by children and parents in 80 cities around the world for nearly ten years. The Music Class materials and philosophy emphasize parent/child interaction and the idea that early and diverse exposure to music can have a great impact on a child's musical aptitude.

At Music Kids we believe this is also true for foreign languages. The first four years of life are the best for exposing a child to the sounds and texture of a second language. During these formative years, a child can still readily absorb subtle sounds and differences in pronunciation. Music and play are the best ways to introduce these sounds and create a positive attitude toward English that will have lasting effects.
